This 2 day camp is designed for those who have limited race experience, want to gain more race skills or want to get into racing. It covers valuable race tips to give you confidence and tactics in your first year or two of racing.

WHERE

The home-base hotel will be located in San Diego, CA.

Lodging in San Diego is centrally located for all athletes.

WHEN

Cyclists will fly into San Diego International Airport/Lindbergh Field to arrive in San Diego ready to ride Saturday at 8am. Many choose to rent cars for flexibility. Further information will be provided to registered athletes.

Cyclists are welcome and encouraged to fly in earlier to do further riding or vacationing in and around San Diego. Stay around to attend the skills camp after a week at the Alpine base training camp.

AFFORDABILITY AND HIGH-VALUE

Certified coaches will ride with the athletes and will be available for Q & A throughout the daily ride. Additional clinics will be held before and after the daily riding schedule. This will be an intensive educational experience, so please be prepared to listen, learn and ask questions both during riding, clinics, and during meals.

ROAD BIKE RENTALS

If you do not wish to ship or bring your bike with you on the plane, CCSD can connect you with local bike shops, which offer rental road bikes at competitive weekly rates. If interested, contact robert@ccsd.com for more information.
